Overview

Powerful and Versatile

The camera’s 3.1-megapixel CMOS chip offers 10-bit resolution for high-quality images.

  • 2,048 × 1,532 pixels with a pixel size of 3.2 µm × 3.2 µm
  • Various binning modes for flexible sensitivity and frame rates
  • Exposure times ranging from just 57 µs up to 750 milliseconds

High Frame Rates

The camera’s high frame rates make it easy to navigate the sample and focus precisely on areas of interest. The 3 × 3 binning mode delivers 37 images per second at 680 × 512 pixels for smooth sample observation. A 10 frame per second full resolution mode is also available.

Excellent Color Accuracy

Color is critical for differentiating the relevant aspects of a sample, and the LC30 digital microscope camera offers excellent color fidelity and faithful color reproduction.

Easy to Install

The camera’s USB 2.0 interface and C-mount make it compatible with most systems. Only one USB 2.0 cable is needed for high-speed data transfer and to power the camera. The LC30 digital microscope camera can also be fully controlled using Olympus cellSens software.
